Message to clients and professionals who use York Advocacy Hub
Our priority is to ensure that all clients, visitors and all staff, feel safe when delivering, or receiving our services. Our advocacy office is currently closed and services are being delivered remotely.
We are prioritising Independent Mental Health Advocacy for Section 2’s, and Section 3’s where there is an appeal, Hospital Manager’s Meeting or discharge planning happening. We are also prioritising Independent Mental Capacity Advocacy for Serious Medical Treatment, DoLs and changes of accommodation where people are needing to leave hospital
Our services are being delivered via email, telephone and video links. If you have an open case, or are a professional with a current advocacy involvement in one of your cases, please either email the relevant advocate direct or email firstname.lastname@example.org . You can also call 07864 728942.
We are offering a wider general advocacy service during this time for anyone who is struggling to access benefits, financial help, having difficulties with housing or accessing services currently. You can make a self referral or if you have someone’s consent you can refer on their behalf. If you are a professional you can it use the usual form.
